Sokoto State executive council has approved projects worth over eleven billion naira in different areas of the state.
The State Commissioner for Information, Alhaji Isah Bajini Galadanci stated this shortly after the state executive council meeting presided by the deputy Governor, Alhaji Mannir Dan Iya.
According to the Commissioner, the projects includes reconstruction of Shagari-Tureta road, purchase of twelve thousand metric tonnes of fertilizer for the upcoming rainy season farming and equally approved the variation claim of the contractor handling the five hundred housing units in the state.
The state executive also resolved to offer automatic employment to state indigenes who graduated with first class and distinction in their respective degrees and HNDs.
