Muslims have been urged to ensure they take credit facility that is not forbidden by God.
Imam Ismail Yusuf made the call in his Juma’at sermon at Hilal Crescent Islamic Centre in Ilorin Kwara State.
He advised Muslims to document any credit facility taken to ensure prompt payment.
Imam Ismail admonished wealthy Muslims to assist in converting loan giving to the needy who can not repay into sadaqah.
According to him whoever takes credit facility and refused to pay, such a person will be made to repay with his good deeds in the hereafter.
Imam Ismail urged Muslims to ensure they set their priority right and shun unnecessary competition inorder to live a comfortable life.
