The Emir of Zazzau and Deputy President General of Jama’atu Nasril Islam-JNI, Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, has inaugurated a new management team for the Kaduna State Chapter of the organisation.
In a statement by the Media and Publicity Officer of the Zazzau Emirate Council, Malam Abdullahi Aliyu Kwarbai, says the new team followed the voluntary withdrawal, on medical grounds, of the immediate past State Chairman, Professor Mohammed Shafi’u Abdullahi, Wakilin Makarantan Zazzau.
The Emir said Kaduna State occupies a strategic position in the activities of JNI and therefore requires proactive, inclusive and committed leadership.
Ambassador Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli charged the members to work with unity and sincerity towards promoting Islamic teachings, peace, unity and community service.
The newly inaugurated members include Alhaji Balarabe Idris Jigo, Wamban Birnin Gwari; Alhaji Dalhat Muhammad Tanimu of Jama’a Emirate; and Malam Tahir Baba Ibrahim, Director of Religious Affairs, Kaduna State Bureau of Interfaith.

Others are Imam Hussaini Iliyasu Murshid of JNI Kaduna State; Alhaji Bashir Umar, Wamban Lere; Malam Muhammad K. Lawal, Marafan Malaman Kauru; and Malam Sani Musa Shehu, Dan Amanar Saminaka.
Inaugurating the team, the Emir urged the new leadership to reposition the State Chapter and make it more functional and responsive to the needs of the Muslim Ummah.
