…Praise PBAT Over Establishment of 10 Division in Taraba
Youth groups in Taraba State have commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the establishment of the 10 Division of the Nigerian Army in the state.

The commendation was made during a joint thank-you rally organized by the Arewa Youth Assembly and the Taraba People’s Movement on Wednesday in Jalingo, the state capital.
Speaking to newsmen, the Spokesperson of the Arewa Youth Assembly, Comrade Aliyu Muhammad, described the decision as a historic footprint of a President who means every word he speaks.
He said as President Tinubu promised to expand the Nigerian Army and take the fight to insecurity, he has delivered on his promises.
“President Tinubu promised to protect our people and he has delivered. The 10 Division is now a living, breathing reality,” Aliyu said.
According to him, the 10 Division is a fortress for Taraba State and a shield for the entire North East.

Comrade Aliyu noted that for too long, their communities cried out for a force that understood their landscape, their fears, and their hopes.
“With a single pen and a heart full of courage, the President answered that cry,” he stated.
He also commended the Federal Government for the increase in the salaries of soldiers, describing it as a gigantic morale booster.
“Additionally, the increase in the salaries of our gallant soldiers is a gigantic morale booster. It tells every man and woman on the front line that their sacrifice is seen, their blood is honoured, and their families will not be forgotten. That is leadership with a human face,” he added.
Also speaking, the Spokesperson of the Taraba People’s Movement, Comrade Umar Sani, appreciated President Tinubu and pledged the group’s readiness to work with the new formation in any capacity required to ensure peaceful coexistence in the state.
“We also extend our profound thanks to the Chief of Defence Staff and the Chief of Army Staff, under whose watchful leadership this dream has taken concrete form. Your efforts have not gone unnoticed, and our hearts are full with gratitude,” he said.
The rally brought together male and female youths from across the 16 LGAs of the state.
They held placards with inscriptions such as: “Taraba is now safe,” “Taraba is now strong,” “10 Division, Our walls of defense,” and “President Tinubu, you have written your name in Gold, among others.
The groups later trekked to the 6 Brigade of the Nigerian Army Headquarters, Jalingo, to officially register their gratitude.
