The Acting Zonal Director of Radio Nigeria Kaduna Zonal Station, Malam Lawal Ali Garba, has handed over the affairs of the station to the most senior officer, Malam Aminu Abdullahi Gombi.
The brief but colourful handover ceremony took place today at the Ladan Salihu Conference Hall of the station, in the presence of members of the management team.
Addressing the gathering, Malam Lawal Ali Garba listed his achievements during his tenure to include the prompt payment of monthly electricity bills for the Jaji transmitting station and the renovation of the studios to improve broadcast quality.
He expressed appreciation to the management staff for the cooperation and support accorded him while he held sway as Acting Zonal Director. He urged them to extend the same cooperation to the new Acting Zonal Director to enable him achieve the mandate set before him.
In his acceptance remarks, the new Acting Zonal Director, Malam Aminu Abdullahi Gombi, thanked his predecessor for his services to the station and wished him a peaceful and fulfilling life in retirement.
Speaking separately, members of the management team also commended Malam Lawal Ali Garba for his contributions to the development of the station.
They congratulated Malam Aminu Abdullahi Gombi on his new appointment and pledged their unalloyed support towards the growth and progress of Radio Nigeria Kaduna Zonal Station.
