The Petroleum Technology Development Fund-PTDF has re-affirmed its commitment to sustaining collaboration with NEITI towards the achievement of shared national objectives.

Executive Secretary of the Fund, Professor Shu’aibu Shehu Aliyu stated this when he received a delegation from NEITI at the PTDF towers in Abuja.

Professor Shu’aibu Shehu Aliyu stressed the need for synergy among public institutions, noting that every institution must work towards achieving one common goal, one purpose and one agenda for Nigeria.

He assured the delegation of PTDF’s readiness to deepen collaboration with NEITI, while remaining committed to its core mandate of capacity development for the energy sector.

Earlier, leader of the NEITI delegation, Alhaji Musa Sarkin Adar noted that the agency has continued to play a vital role in identifying leakages and promoting transparency across the industry.

He therefore commended the PTDF for its contributions to human capacity development within the energy sector.

The visit was aimed at further strengthening the longstanding partnership between both organisations in promoting transparency, accountability and sustainable development within Nigeria’s extractive industry.
