The Commissioner of Police, Zamfara State Command, CP Ahmad Muhammad Bello, has held town hall meetings with stakeholders and residents in Anka and Bukkuyum Local Government Areas to strengthen community policing and improve security.

In a statement, the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Yazid Abubakar, said the engagements provided an avenue for dialogue between the police and the communities.

During the meetings, the Commissioner highlighted key security concerns and urged residents to remain vigilant, share timely information, and work collectively with security agencies to tackle crime.

He stressed that effective policing requires the active support and cooperation of the public, calling on citizens to report suspicious activities and avoid harbouring criminal elements.

As part of the visit, CP Bello paid courtesy calls on the Sarkin Zamfaran Anka and Chairman of the Zamfara State Council of Chiefs, Alhaji Attahiru Muhammad Ahmad, and the Sarkin Danko Bukkuyum, Alhaji Muhammad Usman, seeking their continued support in promoting peace and security.
