The immediate past Director General of the National Directorate of Employment-NDE Mr. Silas Ali Agara have inaugurated his campaign committee for the Nasarawa North Senatorial District a head of the 2027 general election.
At the inauguration ceremony in akwanga local government area, the ex-NDE boss who is the former Deputy Governor said, his decision to join the senatorial race was due to several calls by the people and critical stakeholders in the zone, which will enable him contribute his quota for the overall development.
“I have all it takes to participate in the forth-coming primaries on the 20th of May and the general election if my constituents gives their mandate and opportunity to me to represent them at Senate;.he said ….”
He said, the late Senator, Godiya Akwashiki who was representing Nasarawa North at the Senate had performed extremely well before he died, interm putting infrastructures, youth and women empowerment, education , skills acquisition among many other provisions of people oriented projects In the zone.
The former Deputy Governor and ex-NDE boss pledged to continue with the legacies put in place by the late lawmaker and initiates more to ensure people drive dividend of democracy and good governance to the door steps and feel the impact of government.
“God gives power and we are seeking it from him and the people that we seek to represent and they’re the ones to speak and who will be their next leader at the Senate and as well appreciate for the show of love, encouragement and support by the people of the Nasarawa North Senatorial District; Agara added….”
“Out of thirty five wards in Nasarawa North Senatorial District, we choose two hundreds and sixty six persons as our political structures who were careful selected, men of integrity and have good political background to help drive the process to victory; he said…..”
Mr Silas Ali Agara also promise to continue to carry everybody along to justify the confidence repose in him and assured the electorate that if emerge victory at the end of the process would not abandoned them like some other politicians some where.
In a remark, The Director General of the campaign team, Alhaji Mohammad Usman Aya solicited for team work, patience and dedication from all the co’ordinatirs, party faithful and other critical stakeholders to enable them achieve their dreams.
Mohammad Usman Aya also called on the people Nasarawa North and State at large to obtained their voters card and elect credible leaders who will continue to bring more dividend of democracy to their door steps.
