The All Progressives Congress (APC) has scheduled its presidential primary election for May 15 and 16, 2026, with the cost of nomination and expression of interest forms pegged at ₦100 million.

According to a timetable of events released by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Mr. Felix Morka, the schedule outlines a tight programme of pre-election activities, including the sale of forms, screening of aspirants, and resolution of disputes aimed at strengthening internal democracy.

The statement explained that the timetable reflects the party’s readiness to conduct a transparent and credible nomination process.

It added that the sale of forms will begin this week, while primaries for National Assembly aspirants will take place after the presidential primary, followed by the governorship primaries.

A breakdown of the fees shows that governorship aspirants are to pay ₦50 million, Senate aspirants ₦20 million, House of Representatives aspirants ₦10 million, while the State House of Assembly forms cost ₦6 million.

The party, however, offered concessions to certain categories of aspirants, including women, youths, and persons with disabilities, who are required to pay 50 percent of the prescribed fees.
