The Senator representing Kaduna South Senatorial District, Mr. Sunday Katung, has reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening party unity and deepening grassroots engagement to promote inclusive development in Southern Kaduna.
The Senator made this known during a familiarization tour of APC elected officials across the Kaduna South Senatorial District.
Speaking during the visits, Senator Katung congratulated the newly elected executives on their emergence and charged them to serve as true ambassadors of the party at the ward and local government levels.
He emphasized the need for cohesion, inclusiveness, and continuous engagement with the people as the APC works to deliver on its mandate.
The lawmaker also called on both party members and non-members to support the re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani.

According to him, President Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani have demonstrated their commitment to the people of Southern Kaduna by approving the establishment of the Federal University of Applied Sciences, Kachia, with a College of Medicine in Manchok, as well as the Federal Medical Centre in Kafanchan, among other projects.
“Our strength as a party lies in our unity and our connection to the grassroots.
This tour is to listen, share ideas, and reaffirm our collective commitment to the growth of our party and the progress of Kaduna South Senatorial District,” the Senator stated.
The familiarization tour, which kicked off in Zangon Kataf Local Government Area, moved through Kaura, and ended in Jema’a, will continue across the remaining local government areas in the coming days.
