The former Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Prof Isa Pantami has challenged politicians seeking for elective position to present their scorecard on public service to justify their aspirations.

The minister stated this in Gombe, at the unveiling of the Compendium of over 214 Transformative Legacy Projects implemented in Gombe State during his public service period.

According to him politicians should always present their scorecard for public scrutiny instead of resorting to empty promises.

He maintained that during his seven years service in government,he had not being  being invited by any institution over corruption charges which demonstrated his level of integrity.

Prof Isa Pantami noted that during his time in office he had initiated projects in both Gombe and other states of the Federation to serve as tools for the development of critical sectors such as education and the economy.

He said many of the projects aimed to use technology to address unemployment, insecurity and access to education.

The former Minister stressed that digital tools can help improve government services and make them more open and efficient.

He added that stronger investment in technology could support small businesses and create more jobs for young people.
