The Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation (SABMF) has congratulated Prof. Shuaibu Shehu Aliyu on his appointment as Executive Secretary/CEO of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In a statement signed by the Director-General, Engr. Abubakar Gambo Umar, FNSE, the Foundation described the appointment as a “well-deserved recognition of merit,” noting Prof. Aliyu’s distinguished record in public service, academia, and institutional leadership.
His notable roles include his recent leadership at the National Commission for Mass Literacy, Adult and Non-Formal Education, and earlier contributions at Arewa House, Ahmadu Bello University.
SABMF expressed confidence that Prof. Aliyu’s wealth of experience, competence, and strategic vision will strengthen PTDF’s mandate, particularly in advancing human capital development, training, and institutional effectiveness.
The Foundation wished him a successful and impactful tenure in this key national role.
