Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in Plateau State for a condolence visit following recent security challenges in the state.
The presidential aircraft touched down at Yakubu Gowon Airport at about 5:00 p.m.
The President was accompanied by top government officials, including the Minister of Defence, Christopher Musa, alongside other senior members of his entourage.
On arrival, President Tinubu was received by the Governor of Plateau State, Caleb Mutfwang; the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Nentawe Yilwatda; as well as former governors of the state, including Joshua Dariye, Jonah Jang, and Simon Lalong.
Also present were other top political figures, religious leaders, and representatives of communities affected by the recent crisis.
Discussions between the President and stakeholders in Jos are expected to focus on finding lasting solutions to the recurring security challenges and fostering peace and stability across the state.
