Chairman NUJ – FRCN Kaduna Chapel, Comrade Umar Adamu Sarkinfada

The Nigeria Union of Journalists, FRCN Kaduna Chapel, has congratulated the Management and staff of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria on the occasion of its 75th anniversary.

In a statement by its Chairman, Umar Adamu Sarkinfada, the union described the milestone as a testament to FRCN’s enduring commitment, resilience, and significant contributions to national development, unity, and credible broadcasting in Nigeria and beyond.

The Chairman noted that for over seven decades, FRCN has remained a trusted voice, informing, educating, and entertaining generations while upholding high standards of journalism.

He commended members of staff for their dedication, hard work, and sacrifices in promoting national unity and giving voice to diverse communities across the country.

While celebrating the achievement, Sarkinfada urged the management to prioritise staff welfare, stressing that a motivated workforce is essential for sustaining excellence.

He also called for the replication of ongoing rehabilitation efforts at the corporation’s headquarters across all zonal stations to ensure a more conducive working environment nationwide.

Umar Adamu Sarkinfada further encouraged continuous innovation and adherence to the core values that have defined FRCN over the years.

The NUJ wished the corporation many more years of impactful service, growth, and success.
