The Kwara State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to economic empowerment and inclusive growth towards ensuring the success of the Pre-Ramadan Trade Fair in the state.

Governor , AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq stated this in his message to the pre-Ramadan Trade Fair organized by the Muslimah Entrepreneur Business Forum held at the Banquet Hall, Ilorin.

Represented by the Commissioner for Business, Innovation and Technology, Damilola Adelodun, the governor
emphasized that the Pre-Ramadan Trade Fair reflects the vision of his administration in building a resilient, business-friendly economy driven by local capacity and innovation.

He expressed appreciation to the organizers for creating a platform that supports Muslim entrepreneurs, promotes ethical business practices, and provides valuable opportunities for networking, innovation, and commercial growth within the state.

According to him the event, which brought together entrepreneurs, vendors, and consumers, aligns with his administration’s agenda of promoting small and medium-scale enterprises, stimulating local production, and expanding access to markets ahead of the Ramadan season.

AbdulRazaq noted that such initiatives not only prepare citizens economically for the Ramadan period but also contribute to job creation, wealth distribution, and the strengthening of community ties through commerce.

He further stated that the State government remains committed to policies and programmes that support entrepreneurs, particularly women and youth-led businesses.

The governor highlighted the importance of leveraging technology, skills development, and partnerships to ensure that local businesses can compete favorably and sustainably in both local and wider markets.

He commended the Muslimah Entrepreneur Business Forum for its consistency and impact, assuring participants of continued government support for similar initiatives.
