The Chairman of Jema’a Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Mr. Peter Tanko Dogara, has emphasized the importance of education as a transformative tool capable of driving positive change across communities.

Mr. Dogara made this known during the launch of a WAEC sponsorship programme for 250 candidates drawn from the twelve wards of the local government, held in Kafanchan, Kaduna State.

The initiative, which marks a significant milestone in education empowerment and community development, demonstrates the Chairman’s strong commitment to promoting education and inclusive governance at the grassroots.

According to him, the programme underscores his dedication to giving back to society and is inspired by the vision of Governor Uba Sani, whose administration prioritizes education at all levels, alongside other critical sectors in the state.

Dogara encouraged the beneficiaries to remain diligent in their studies and strive for excellence in the WAEC examinations, stressing that education remains a powerful tool for societal transformation.

He described the initiative as a beacon of hope for vulnerable students, particularly orphans, persons with special needs, and academically outstanding students, noting that it represents a major step toward educational advancement in the area.

The programme attracted education managers, parents, guardians, relevant stakeholders, and the beneficiaries, who commended the Chairman for prioritizing education in the local government.

They assured him of their continued support for his administration to ensure the delivery of more dividends of democracy to the people at the grassroots.
