The Kano State Government has vowed to clamp down on anyone using motorcycles for commercial purposes across the state.

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Transportation, Alhaji Danladi Idris Karfi, disclosed this while briefing journalists in Kano.

 

He said the government had observed with concern the resurgence of commercial motorcycle operations within the Kano metropolitan area.

Karfi noted that the trend poses a serious threat to peaceful coexistence in the state.

 

He emphasized that the law banning commercial motorcycle operations remains in force and will be strictly enforced, warning that defaulters will face the full wrath of the law.

Danladi Idris Karfi Maintained that Kano remains one of the most peaceful states in the country, and the government will not tolerate any act capable of undermining the prevailing peace.

The Special Adviser urged residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to security agencies to help safeguard lives and property.
