The Kaduna Capital School Old Students Association has awarded scholarships to outstanding students of the school as part of its commitment to supporting education and promoting academic excellence.

President of the association, Hajiya Rabi Saulawa speaking at a brief ceremony held at the school premises said the initiative was aimed at encouraging hard work among students and ensuring that financial challenges do not hinder brilliant pupils from pursuing their education.

She explained that the scholarship scheme was one of several welfare programmes introduced by the association to give back to the institution that laid the foundation for their success.

The President commended Alhaji Bukar Kashim Shettima and other donors who contributed to the scholarship fund, describing their efforts as a demonstration of unity and commitment to the school’s development. She urged the beneficiaries to remain dedicated to their studies and to serve as role models to their peers.

In his remarks, the Principal of Kaduna Capital School Mallam Yahaya Nuhu expressed appreciation to the Old Students Association for their continued support. He noted that the scholarship would go a long way in motivating other students to strive for academic excellence and contribute meaningfully to society.

Some of the beneficiaries, who spoke on behalf of their colleagues, thanked the association for the recognition and promised to make good use of the opportunity. The event also featured the presentation of certificates to the awardees and a group photograph with members of the association’s executive committee.
