The Kano State Government has reiterated its commitment to delivering key infrastructure projects aimed at enhancing public welfare.

 

Commissioner for Project Monitoring, Nura Ma’aji, disclosed this to journalists in Kano.

 

 

 

He said the ongoing construction of the Dan’Agundi and Tal’udu overhead bridges would be completed by December this year.

 

The Commissioner explained that government had settled all compensation and related issues to ensure the projects were completed within the stipulated timeframe.

 

Ma’aji noted that regular inspections were being conducted to ensure quality work and speedy completion, stress that the bridges are expected to ease traffic congestion upon completion.

 

According to him, the two projects are scheduled to be commissioned in January 2026, in line with the state government’s infrastructure development plan.

 

He appealed to the general public to continue according all needed support to government with a view to achieving the stated goals.
