The Member representing Tarauni Local Government Area in the Kano State House of Assembly, Alhaji Kabiru Dahiru Sule (ADS), says renovation work at the Government Secondary School (GSS) Unguwar Gano has reached an advanced stage.
Alhaji Kabiru made the disclosure during an interview with newsmen in his office.
He explained that the project forms part of broader efforts to promote education in the state under the leadership of Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, who has made education a top priority.
According to the lawmaker, this commitment inspired him to contribute to educational development within his constituency.
The renovation work at GSS Unguwar Gano includes the rehabilitation of classrooms, roof replacement, wall painting, and the provision of modern desks and chairs for students.
Alhaji emphasized that ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment for children in Tarauni has been a personal commitment since the beginning of his tenure.
He expressed confidence that residents are now witnessing the positive impact of ongoing developmental projects across the local government’s ten wards.
He further urged community members to take ownership of and maintain the new infrastructure provided in their areas to ensure sustainability.
