Jigawa State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) has conducted the second round of examinations for teachers seeking appointment as Education Secretaries across the 27 local government areas of the state.
The Executive Chairman of the Board, Professor Haruna Musa, disclosed this to newsmen in Dutse.
According to him, 129 teachers participated in the second round of the examination, out of the 159 who took part in the first round held at the Federal University, Dutse.
Professor Musa explained that the examination questions were designed around the challenges faced by schools under the Board and possible solutions to those problems.
He added that the candidates would also undergo a computer-based test to assess their ability to write reports and communicate electronically.
Radio Nigeria reports that university lecturers have been invited to supervise the examination and assist in selecting the most suitable candidates for the Education Secretary positions.
