An agency, Operation Keep Taraba Clean, has called on Governor Agbu Kefas to join the All Progressives Congress (APC) to attract more development to Taraba State.

The State Coordinator of the Agency, Mr. Iliya Kefas, made the call during a solidarity march held in Jalingo.

Mr. Kefas emphasized that joining the APC would open more opportunities for growth and development in the state.

According to him, the governor’s defection to the ruling party would help unlock key projects and attract greater federal support for infrastructure, healthcare, and education in Taraba State.

The protesters, who marched through the streets of Jalingo, carried placards with messages urging Governor Kefas to join the APC.

They expressed confidence that his move would usher in a new era of development and progress for the state.

The group also commended the APC for its record of delivering development projects to states under its leadership.

They urged Governor Kefas to take what they described as a “bold step” to align Taraba with the ruling party for better access to resources and partnerships.

Radio Nigeria reports that the development comes amid growing speculation about Governor Kefas’ political future.

Governor Kefas, who has long been a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), is rumored to be considering a move to the APC.
