The Aminu Magashi Garba (AMG) Foundation, in collaboration with its partners, has made a second-round donation of drugs and consumables valued at ₦200,000 to the Accident and Emergency (A&E) Department of Murtala Muhammad Specialist Hospital (MMSH), Kano.

The donation was made in partnership with the Kano State Healthcare Forum, Community Health and Research Initiative (CHR), Youth Society for the Prevention of Infectious Diseases and Social Vices (YOSPIS), and the Vulnerable People Support and Development Initiative (V-PeSDI).

 

The items were received by the outgoing Matron of the department, Matron Hassana, the incoming Head of Department, Mallam Munnir Idris, and other members of staff.

Presenting the donation, Dr. Aminu Magashi Garba, Chair of the AMG Foundation, emphasized the need for judicious use of the medical supplies to meet the needs of vulnerable patients who depend on the hospital’s emergency services.

In his remarks, Mallam Munnir Idris expressed gratitude to the AMG Foundation and its partners for their sustained commitment to improving healthcare delivery, describing the gesture as a timely and impactful intervention that will strengthen emergency service delivery at the hospital.
