The Management of the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Gusau, has directed all staff not to attend to any patient without a valid electronic card (E-card).

This directive was contained in a statement issued by the Public Relations Officer of the Centre, Dr. Nasiru A. Tukur and issued to Newmen in Gusau.

Dr Tukur noted that the hospital expressed concern over the misuse of hospital E-cards by some patients.

He said that henceforth, all patients are required to present their E-cards bearing their Patient Identification (PID) numbers during every visit.

Dr. Nasiru Tukur appealed to patients for their understanding and cooperation to ensure effective and efficient healthcare service delivery.
