The First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has announced that she will dedicate her 65th birthday on Sunday, September 21, 2025, to God and to the advancement of education in the country.

In a statement personally signed by her, the First Lady said she has chosen to mark the occasion quietly while appealing to well-wishers who may want to send gifts, flowers, cakes, or newspaper greetings to instead channel their support towards the completion of the National Library project.

Senator Tinubu explained that her deep passion for education informed the decision, noting that contributions can be made through the “Oluremi@65 Education Fund” domiciled with Zenith Bank Plc under the coordination of the Federal Ministry of Education.

She described the project as the best birthday gift she could ever receive, adding that it would serve generations of Nigerians.

The First Lady thanked all Nigerians for their prayers and support as she celebrates the milestone.
