UNICEF, in collaboration with the Kirikasamma Local Government Council, has donated essential hospital equipment and supplies to strengthen antenatal and other health services in the area.

Presenting the items to the Primary Health Care Coordinator, the Council Chairman, Alhaji Muhammad Maji Wakili Marma, said the gesture was aimed at improving service delivery and reducing maternal and child health challenges in the local government.

Receiving the donation, the Primary Health Care Coordinator, Kabiru Musa, explained that the supplies which include delivery beds, bed sheets, pillows, kits, and other essentials would be distributed to health posts across Kirikasamma.

Alhaji Marma urged health personnel to ensure transparency and accountability during the distribution process.

He also commended Governor Umar Namadi and development partners for rehabilitating health posts and building midwives’ houses in Kirikasamma and other parts of the state.

The initiative is expected to enhance access to quality antenatal care and other health services for residents of the area.
