Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has donated two new 32-seater Toyota Coaster buses one each to the School for Special Needs and Queen Elizabeth School all in Ilorin.

Governor AbdulRazaq said the buses will aid students mobility and improve learning outcomes.

He said the state government would continue to put in place necessary facilities that will make the learning environment more conducive for the students.

According to him the bus intervention is an additional support as the state government has done most of what was needed to be done before now.

Governor AbdulRazaq explained that the administration had provided the students with different learning aids and hearing machine, as well as additional street lights.

He urged parents and guardians to always pray for and give their children the needed support to thrive, with particular reference to children with special needs.

The Governor also pledged to look into some other pending challenges, including the perimeter fences around Queen Elizabeth school and their electricity.

In their separate remarks, the Principals of the School for Special Needs Alhaji Abdulganiyi Olododo and that of the Queen Elizabeth School Hajiya Rashidat Abdul commended the Governor’s efforts in alleviating the sufferings of the students.

They said the bus donation will address their challenges of not having a functional and befitting vehicle, adding that the state government continuous investment in education was commendable.
