The Progressive Governors Forum, PGF has awarded Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State a Special Recognition Award for exemplary leadership and transformative governance with particular reference to Youth inclusion in the state.

The award was presented during the two day Quarterly Meeting organized by the forum for Commissioners of Youth and Sports in APC-Governed States, held in Kaduna.

The Progressive Governors Forum, Director-General, Folorunso Aluko said the award highlights Governor Uba Sani’s unwavering dedication to progressive values and measurable development across key sectors.

The forum described Governor Sani as “a visionary, reform-minded, and people-driven leader whose tenure exemplifies the ideals of progressive governance.”

The PGF also praised his achievements in youth, women and children inclusion, as well as education, digital learning, industrialization, agricultural modernisation, and health interventions, all driven by a data-informed and transparent approach to leadership.

While receiving the award, the Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, Dr. Hadiza Balarabe who represented the Governor appreciated the progressive governors forum for the tirelessly work around the 23 States Governed by the APC and promised to do more.

The Governor commended the inter State synergy initiative of the forum and urged them to keep the momentum.

Also, The Progressive Governors Forum, issued a communique signed by the DG and all commissioners of youth and sports present.

The meeting resolved to adopt the Forum Unified Inter-State Youth Development Framework to strengthen cross-state collaboration, ensure policy alignment, and scale innovative solutions that foster youth empowerment and development across APC-governed states.

The meeting applauded the united and strategic leadership of the Progressive Governors for their sustained investments in youth development across their states.

The forum expressed support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu leadership in harnessing the energy, creativity, and aspirations of young Nigerians as drivers of national renewal and inclusive development and endorsed President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
