A delegation representing the First Lady of Zamfara State, Hajiya Huriyya Dauda Lawal, has paid a condolence and congratulatory visit to the newly appointed Emir of Gusau, Alhaji Abdulkadir Ibrahim Bello.

The visit followed the recent passing of the former Emir, Dr. Ibrahim Bello, who was widely respected for his visionary leadership and contributions to the progress of Gusau Emirate and Zamfara State.

Leading the delegation, Hajiya Larai Musa Lawal extended the First Lady’s heartfelt condolences to the royal family and offered prayers for the peaceful repose of the late Emir. She also conveyed a congratulatory message to the new monarch, wishing him a successful and peaceful reign.

 

 

In his remarks, Emir Abdulkadir Ibrahim Bello expressed deep appreciation to the First Lady for the thoughtful gesture and described her as a sister figure. He also thanked Governor Dauda Lawal for the confidence placed in him and pledged to uphold his father’s legacy with humility and dedication.

The delegation also visited the Emir of Anka and Chairman of the Zamfara State Council of Chiefs, Alhaji Attahiru Muhammad Ahmad, to condole with him on the passing of the late Emir of Gusau. The Emir of Anka lauded the First Lady’s visit as a mark of unity and respect for the traditional institution.

The delegation comprised permanent members, special advisers, senior special assistants, the state PDP Women Leader, wives of local government chairmen and lawmakers, women politicians, directors, and other dignitaries.
