The first flight of 420 Intending Pilgrims from Kebbi State, has departed Sir Ahmadu Bello International Airport Birnin Kebbi to Saudi Arabia Today.

The flight Flynas departed the airport at around 5:50PM Nigeria time heading to Madina.

The intending pilgrims on board including officials of the State Pilgrims Welfare Agency and are in good health condition.

In his farewell address to the intending pilgrims, the state Deputy Governor, Senator Umar Abubakar, urged them to be good Ambassadors of the state and the country Urged them to abide by  rules of the Saudi authority.

He called on them to pray for peace and harmony of the country and as well the leaders.

3,800 intending pilgrims are expected to be airlifted in nine consecutive flight from the state.
