Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umar Bago has described his relationship with his Deputy, Comrade Yakubu Garba as perfect and harmonious.
The Governor stated this while answering questions from newsmen on his relationship with his Deputy after the Workers’ Day celebration in Minna.
According to him, “we are a team, they can’t break us, our focus is on the goal, and we will achieve it.”
The Governor enjoined the people of the state to uphold their support for his administration, while assuring that a new Niger is possible.
Investigation conducted revealed that the Niger state Deputy Governor, Comrade Yakubu Garba did not attend the celebration of this year’s Worker’s Day in Minna which had been alleged by some Nigerlites as an indication that the rifts between the Niger state Governor and his Deputy were not fully settled.
