The Speaker Niger State House of Assembly, Barr. Abdulmalik Sarkin-Daji, has extended  congratulatory messages to the Christian community in the state and beyond on the successful completion of the 40-day Lenten fast and Easter celebrations.

On behalf of the leadership and members of the 10th Assembly, the Speaker commended Christian faithfuls for their devotion and spiritual growth during this sacred period.

He however commended them for their devotion during this period and may the spiritual renewal and rejuvenation experienced during Lent bring peace, joy, and prosperity to all.

Barr AbdulMalik Sarkin Daji, acknowledged the crucial role of Christian leaders in guiding Niger lites that the 10th Assembly will continue to legislate laws that would bring direct and positive impact to the people of the State.

Similarly he said the Niger State House of Assembly remain committed to the promotion of peaceful coexistence among all residents, regardless of faith or cultural background.

The Easter celebration, a cornerstone of the Christian faith, the resurrection of Jesus Christ, symbolizing victory over death and sin, the  occasion is a reminder of the transformative power of faith and the enduring message of hope that resonates throughout the ages.
