Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board has commenced the distribution of uniforms and bags for its intending pilgrims for 2025 Hajj exercise.

The Director General of the board, Alhaji Ahmed Umar Labbo stated this in his office during an interview with Radio Nigeria in Dutse, the state capital.

He said, the board will soon commence vaccination for all the state intending Pilgrims which was part of Saudi Arabian authority’s condition for issuance of visas.

He pointed out that, the vaccination would be conducted across designated centres in the state.

Alhaji Ahmed Umar Labbo called on the intending pilgrims to be attending the daily orientation lectures organised by the board in all the 27 local government areas of the state.

Labbo, added that, the daily orientation exercise for the 2023 would end before the airlift of the pilgrims

Some of the intending pilgrims who spoke to Radio Nigeria commended the board for the distribution of the travelling kits and also the orientation lectures organised by the officials of the JSPWB.

Ahmed Umar Labbo noted that the 2025 hajj pilgrims will be airlifted to the holy land through Nuhu Muhammadu Sunusi international airport.

He therefore urged the state pilgrims to be good ambassadors of the state and the country in general while at the holy land.
