The Zamfara State Ministry for Environment and Natural Resources has commended the State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency (ZAMCHEMA) for its efforts in providing quality healthcare services to residents of the state.

The commendation was made by the Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Alhaji Kasimu Sani Kaura, while receiving a delegation from ZAMCHEMA led by the agency’s Director of Finance and Accounting, Alhaji Mannir Sani, in his office.

Alhaji Kaura, who was represented by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Alhaji Rilwanu Musa Zurmi, praised ZAMCHEMA’s management for their orientation visit and the presentation of over 200 identity cards to staff of the Ministry.

According to him, the ID cards would enable them to access quality healthcare services under the state’s contributory scheme.

Alhaji Kasimu Kaura described ZAMCHEMA’s commitment as a significant step toward enhancing the well-being of civil servants and the general public, noting that their dedication is yielding positive results in the state’s healthcare sector.

In his remarks, Alhaji Mannir Sani reiterated the agency’s commitment to ensuring accessible and affordable healthcare for all.

He noted that under the leadership of Governor Dauda Lawal, the state government has prioritized healthcare delivery by investing in the renovation and upgrading of hospitals and primary healthcare centres across Zamfara.
