States Governments have been advised to establish Ranches as part of efforts to promote dairy and beef production for exports.

All Progressives Congress APC Chieftain in Adamawa State, Alhaji Umar lya Gulak gave the advice in an interview in Kaduna.

Alhaji Umar Gulak noted that commitment of the Federal Government for development of the sector was commendable and expected to improve revenue generation nationwide.

He expressed delight over reports that five hundred hectares of land had been cleared in Benue State to support ranching and dairy production.

Alhaji Umar Gulak recalled the promises made by the Minister of Livestock Development, Alhaji Idi Muktar Maiha, during a visit to Kaduna, that President Bola Tinubu had assured the necessary support for the sector and solicited public cooperation to achieve the desired objectives.
