Nigerians have been advised to take advantage of Ramadan fast and the Lenten season to offer genuine prayers for the country and its leadership at all levels of governance to succeed.

The Commander Training and Doctrine Command Nigerian Army TRADOC Minna, Major General Kevin Aligbe gave the advice at the 2025 Ramadan Iftar and Lenten breaking of fast organized for barracks community held at the Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja multipurpose hall Minna Military Cantonment, Niger state.

Major General Kevin Aligbe who acknowledged the support and hospitality shown to them by Governor Mohammed Umar Bago and the good people of Niger state said Nigerian Army will continue to reciprocate such gesture by encouraging their troops to do their utmost to ensure greater security for Niger state and Nigeria.

The TRADOC Commander however explained that we must offer prayers for the success of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, state Governor’s, Ministers , Members of Armed Forces and their leadership including the Service Chiefs across the country.

According to him it doesn’t matter if you are politically aligned with them or not but the fact remains that they are in position of leadership and if they do not succeed we will all be affected.

Lieutenant General Kevin Aligbe advised those at home to always support the families of those in the field by making themselves available to them so that they do not feel the absence of their loved ones.

In his remarks the Director Training TRADOC Nigerian Army, Brigadier Danjuma Dantani, appreciated the Commander TRADOC for providing the financial support and the opportunity to bring people of both faiths together which he said would go along way in encouraging religious tolerance and understanding.

Niger state Governor Mohammed Umar Bago represented by the Commissioner for Homeland Security, Major General Bello Abdullahi Muhammad retired, the Governor assured them of continued support at all times to succeed.
