Former Director General Nigeria Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, NIMASA, Dr. Bashir Jamoh has applauded the efforts of women towards developing the society.

The former NIMASA Boss stated this at an event organized by an NGO, to mark Women’s Day held in Kaduna.

 

 

He explained that women worldwide have made remarkable achievements at various sectors and have excel even in the male dominated fields, hence the needs to celebrate and support them.

Dr.Jamoh called on women to continue to be optimistic in their pursuit for gender inclusion,with resilient, unity and commitment they will achieve it.

 

 

 

In a remark a financial expert who shared her success story at the event, Hauwa Wali called on women and girls to see this year’s International Women’s Day as a wakeup call for more struggles towards achieving financial, political, economical and social independence.

 

 

 

On her part, Assistant Director of Reality Investment, Hajiya Rabi Muhammed Shehu called on women to continue developing themselves in enterpeurship skills and empower their fellow women.

She maintained that adopting technology and modern methods of doing things would go a long way in helping women to accelerate action as captured in this year’s theme.
