Nigeria Police Force has commended the Jigawa State government for its strong commitment to ensuring security in the state.

The Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) in charge of Zone 1, Ahmed Ammani, made this commendation during a courtesy visit to Governor Umar Namadi at the Government House in Dutse, the Jigawa State capital.

AIG Ammani appreciated the numerous supports Governor Namadi was giving to the police and other security agencies operating in the state.

He described Jigawa as one of the peaceful states in the country.

According to him, assuming office as the AIG in charge of Zone 1, he has never received a report of serious crimes from the Jigawa State Command, attributing that to the governor’s indefatigable efforts towards securing the state.

The AIG equally used the opportunity to condole the governor over the passing of his mother and son, praying for the deceased.
