The Director-General of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Mr Lanre Issa-Onilu, has urged Nigerian Muslims to use the month of Ramadan to pray for peace, unity, and national development.
This is contained in a statement issued by the Agency’s Deputy Director of Media and Communication, Paul Odenyi. Mr Onilu encouraged Muslims to engage in spiritual reflection, increased devotion, and acts of charity in line with Islamic teachings.
“As we seek national development, all citizens must pray for peace and unity, regardless of religious or political affiliation,” Issa-Onilu stated.
He said Ramadan was a sacred period of self-renewal and reflection, offering a path to advancing humanity.
The NOA DG also called on all citizens to pray for the success of the present administration and the overall development of Nigeria.
