Callers on the FRCN Kaduna program “Zamani Abokin Tafiya”  have expressed concern over the delayed payment of pension arrears to retired workers despite a recent presidential directive.

They emphasized the need for officials handling the matter to expedite action in implementing the payment to honor the sacrifices of senior citizens and reduce corruption in public service.

The callers urged officials to demonstrate patriotism and the fear of God in discharging their responsibilities to meet the aspirations of the people and drive national progress.

Alhaji Ibrahim Muhammad Katsina, Isya Soba, Ibrahim Allarama, Umar Aliyu Soba, Shafi’u Nalantawa, and Maza Jiya Soba, who also called, stressed the need for improved security and a reduction in the prices of essential commodities in line with the Federal Government’s commitment.
