Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency has urged the two newly appointed members of its special committee to bring to their wealth of experience for the success of this year’s Hajj exercise.

 

The Executive Chairman of the Agency, Mallam Salihu Abubakar made the call while briefing Sheikh Maraya and Mallam Abdullahi Bayero as they newly appointed members to the special committee held at the agency’s boardroom in Kaduna.

 

Recently, Kaduna State Governor Mallam Uba Sani approved the appointment of Sheikh Halliru Abdullahi Maraya and Mallam Abdullahi Bayero as members on Special Hajj Committees members at Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency.

 

While congratulating them,
The Executive Chairman of the Agency, Mallam Salihu Abubakar explained that members of the committee are always committed to ensure successful Hajj exercise.

 

He announced that already three thousand four hundred and nine intending pilgrims have successfully settled their Hajj fees before the deadline of the closing date set aside by the National Hajj Commission.

 

Responding, Sheikh Halliru Abdullahi Maraya said their appointment was an opportunity to serve the guests of God and assured that they would do their best to ensure successful Hajj exercise this year.

 

Also in his brief remarks, Mallam Abdullahi Bayero appreciated the Kaduna State Governor for finding them worthy for the job and pray for the success of the Hajj exercise.

 

The two appointees are stakeholders in Hajj operation and Islamic affairs for decades in Kaduna and Nigeria in general.
