The Member representing Jema’a/ Sanga Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Mr . Dan Amos has congratulated the people of Nikyob (Kaninkon) Chiefdom on the occasion of the 24th Anniversary of its creation.
The law maker also described the historic event as the celebration of unity, resilience, and progress of the Nikyob People of Jema’a LGA, Kaduna State, Nigeria.
In a statement, Mr. Amos says over the past two decades, Nikyob Chiefdom has served as a unifying platform, bringing its people together under a shared vision of peace and development.
According to it, the chiefdom has provided a solid foundation for fostering harmony among its communities, strengthening bonds of kinship, and promoting collective progress for the common good.
Daniel Amos explains further that, beyond uniting its people, Nikyob Chiefdom had been instrumental in preserving the rich cultural heritage and traditions of the nation.
He notes that it has created avenues for showcasing the people’s customs, values, and unique identity, ensuring that the legacy of their forebearers continues to inspire future generations.
The law maker points that, the anniversary is also a testament to the visionary leadership of the traditional institution led by HRH, Mal. Tanko Tete, Tum Nikyob (1), and the enduring spirit of unity and cooperation that defines the people.
The house member encourages all the sons and daughters of Nikyob both at home and diaspora to remain steadfast in their efforts to sustain unity, promote development, and continue to project the rich cultural heritage of the Nikyob people to the world.
