Vice President Kashim Shettima has promoted Nigeria and Africa as prime investment destinations during the 2025 World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland.

Speaking at a session on investment opportunities in Africa’s frontier markets, he emphasized Nigeria’s readiness for modernization and robust investments under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s leadership.

Highlighting major infrastructure projects and gas partnerships, he noted that Africa is emerging as a global economic force.

In bilateral talks with Botswana’s President Duma Boko, both leaders discussed trade, investment, and stronger diplomatic ties. VP Shettima also met WTO Director General Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, praising her remarkable contributions to global trade.
