The Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Nasir Idris, has approved the release of N585 million for the payment of tuition fees of 100 State indigenes studying in various universities in India.

 

The State Commissioner for Higher Education, Isa Abubakar Tunga, who disclosed this while briefing newsmen stated that, this in line with the state Governor’s effort towards promoting academic and moral excellence in the tertiary education.

 

He revealed that, soon the state government would settle contigency funds for those students studying in Egypt as they are under the Egyptian scholarship.
