Kaduna State government says the National Youth Service Corp-NYSC has over the past five decades fulfilled it’s mandate of promoting unity, accelerating socio-economic development and enhancing selflessness among youths.

Governor Uba Sani made the remark at the NYSC twenty twenty-four Batch ‘B’ Pre-orientation Course Workshop held in Kaduna.

The governor who was represented by Commissioner for Human Services and Social Development Rabi Salisu said the theme of the workshop “Emotional Intelligence: An Indispensable Tool for Successful Orientation Programme”. would undoubtedly prepare workshop participants to successfully handle activities during the orientation course and service year.

He said the workshop would also serve as an avenue for evaluating the performance of the scheme in achieving it’s laid down objectives and restructuring where necessary.

The Governor therefore urged participants to utilize the opportunity of the workshop to enhance performance and productivity .

He further reaffirmed his administration’s continuous commitment and support for the scheme.

Also at the workshop, Director General Brigadier General Yusha’u Dogara Ahmed said the workshop was convened to prepare camp officials and Corp employers on the need to pay the needed attention and render assistance to Corp members when necessary for optimal productivity.
