Yobe State Command of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps-NSCDC, says it has deployed about 878 operatives to beef up security before, during, and after the Sallah celebration.

The spokesman of the command, DSC Bala Garba, in a statement to newsmen in Damaturu, says operatives had been duly briefed to be watchful and treat people with civility in the process of discharging their duties.

DSC Garba also called on the operatives to ensure maximum protection of critical national assets and infrastructure.
