Dr. Idris who spoke on: “School Management, Financial Sources, and Control” attributed poor academic performance among students to failure of teachers to adhere to the standard teaching methodology.

He also said for every school to succeed, it must have vision, capacity, aspiration, ownership and support.

On the almajiri and out-of-school-children, Dr Idris said President Bola Tinubu was worried about the menace and ready to support any initiative towards bringing it to an end.

The Executive Secretary also explained that efforts were being made towards the integration of western education into the curriculum of almajiri schools and taking millions of vulnerable Nigerian children off the streets.

The Director of Education of the Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi Foundation, Sayyadi Aliyu Sisse Dahiru Bauchi appreciated the Executive Secretary for sharing his wealth of experience, and pledged their support for the restructuring of the Almajiri system of education.
