The President of the Nigeria Labour Congress NLC, Comrade Joe Ajearo, has scored excellent in performance of transforming Kebbi state by the Comrade Nasir Idris led administration within one year.

The NLC President who stated this while answering questions from newsmen in Birnin Kebbi, said the team was in Kebbi a year back to celebrate with Governor Idris on his success at the poll and they are in the state to access his performance.

Comrade Ajaero, expressed satisfaction with the performance and the way the state is now looking unlike one year back when the state looked like a local government not state capital.

He acknowledged the effort of the governor in touching all sectors but urged him to focus on industrialization so that it create employment to the growing populace of the state.

On the issue of the Civil service of the State, Comrade Ajaero, commended the governor for prompt payment of gratuity and pension to retired civil servants saying, Kebbi is one of the two states in the country who are paying pension and gratuity to workers.

” I’m optimistic and confident that, governor Idris will implement the new minimum wage on reaching agreement with the organised Labour and the government”.
