Jigawa State Chairman of the Council of Chiefs, and the Emir of Hadejia, Dr. Adamu Abubakar Maje

The Chairman Jigawa State Council of Chiefs, Dr Adamu Abubakar Maje has reaffirmed his council commitment towards supporting security personnel in order to maintain peace and stability in the state and the country in general.

He gave the assurance when he received the newly posted 26 Armored Brigade commander Nigeria Army Dutse in his Palace.

Dr. Adamu Abubakar Maje, the state chairman of the council of chiefs, assured that a cordial relationship exists between the emirs and security units in the state.

He added that this relationship would continue to ensure the security of lives and properties of the citizens.

Dr Adamu Abubakar Maje expressed satisfaction with mutual understanding between security personnel and people in the State which also constitute peaceful coexistence in the State.

Earlier, the new Brigade commander, Brigadier General T.J Mackintosh said he was in the Palace to introduce himself and seek for royal blessings.

General Mackintosh assured to work closely with traditional Institutions to achieve the set goals and pledge for their continued support and cooperation.
