A non-governmental organization (NGO), Rayuwa Project, has reiterated its commitment to improving education in Kaduna State.

Mr. Ezychail Omale, an educational specialist at Rayuwa Project, made this statement in Kudan Local Government while distributing educational learning and teaching materials to 14 schools across the local government area.

Mr Omale explained that the aims of distributing the education materials was to provide the students and teachers of the selected schools with learning materials .

He added that the Rayuwa Project expressed willingness to provide 12,000 students with learning material and 5,000 teachers with teaching material.

In a remark, the Project Director, Dr. Victor Chika Onamma, said the project had been conducted in Katsina, and now it is Kaduna State’s turn, with Kudan Local Government Area as the first point of call.

Mr. Victor Onamma pointed out that the educational team of the project conducted surveys in all the local governments in Kaduna State and ended up selecting Kudan to receive such support for the program.

He also appreciated the efforts of the Kudan Local Government Chairman and traditional rulers for the kind support given to the Rayuwa project.

The Director Advised Head Teachers to ensure that the learning materials get to students it was designed for.

While receiving the items, the Chairman of Kudan Local Government Area, Abdulmuminu Bawa Jaja, who appreciated the kind gesture, stated that he would support the educational sector in Kudan Local Government.

He also promised to collaborate with the Rayuwa project for the development of education in the area and commended their efforts for selecting the kudan local government area.

Some teachers who benefited expressed their readiness to use the materials given to them to improve teaching in their respective schools.
